Certified Fitness Professional | Zumba® Presenter

Celebrity Trainer Suyumi QuirozSuyumi Quiroz has been living her passion of fitness from a very early age in her hometown of Juarez, Mexico. She is a certified fitness professional with 20 years of experience in different realms of the fitness and health industry. She has had the opportunity to work with some of the most renowned fitness program creators and equipment manufacturers such as Les Mills®, Zumba®, ViPR®, Techogym® and Schwinn® to name a few. She has been one of the very few female Latina that has achieved international recognition thru her work as a motivational speaker and international presenter. Additionally, she has worked with some of the most prestigious gyms in Mexico and the United States.
She opened and managed with great success one of the first women only gyms in Mexico by the name of “Body Fit Women’s Only”. Once in the United States, she has been working with the leading fitness gym in America “Equinox Fitness”.

Suyumi has formed very strong ties within the Latin community in South Florida; this has opened the doors to several Spanish International Television Networks such as Univision and Telemundo. She has been the “In House” fitness specialist for the Spanish Telemundo Television Show “Un Nuevo Dia”. As one of the top Zumba® presenters in South Florida, She has collaborated with famous Spanish artist icons such as Pitbull and Don Omar at some of the most prestigious Spanish award shows such as “Premios Lo Nuestro” and “Premios Billboard”.
For the past 3 years Suyumi has also presented at the annual Shape Magazine Fitness Tour in Miami Beach, Florida. During the summer of 2013, she had the opportunity to tour some US Cities with Nickelodeon pop star sensation Victoria Justice, bringing the message to children and teenagers that exercise and healthy living are very important. As obesity has become a huge problem amongst the Latin community, Suyumi has made it one of her missions to work closely to help fight this disease, especially amongst children and teenagers.

In 2013, she returned to her hometown of Juarez, Mexico as an honorary guest to participate in the first Fitness X Festival this city has done conducting a massive Zumba® Presentation with more than 500 participants, the event was a complete success. With many awards and recognitions to her name, one of the most important ones has been to be recognized in 2013 as one of the most influential international fitness presenters. Additionally, Suyumi participated in the First Annual “Juarez Baila X Amor” event that was conducted in Juarez, Mexico. It is an event that was created to help the less fortunate by organizing a Zumba® Masterclass that only required they bring canned food donations. This massive food drive, allowed for more than 200 families to have food for the Christmas Holidays. Due to the success of the event, and the massive media coverage and sponsors it was able to gather, the event will be done on an annual basis.
In an effort to continue to be able to offer the best of her, she is always looking for opportunities to learn and surround herself with some of the most influential minds in the fitness field. She has been trained and certified by some of the best from PTA Global. Suyumi has been an Ambassador for Lululemon Athletica, and National Ambassador for Reebok One®. In 2014 she has had the opportunity to participate in The Institute of Motion Mentorship program that brings together some of the most prestigious fitness professionals. Suyumi participated in a Master Class with over 3000 people in Honduras alongside the International Singer “El Chevo” creator of the Zumba® song “Metela, Sacala”. Suyumi has also participated in several Zumba® projects such as the movie Change of Hearts, the ZIN 2014 World Cup Song (Ole, Ole). Suyumi continues to put her passion in helping others reach their fitness goals and to learn how to live a healthy lifestyle and be happy.
